The customer owns all reports and data created with field service documentation software — not the software vendor. With WECAVIS, every photo, voice note, text submission, and generated document — including PDF defect reports, weekly reports, Behinderungsanzeige documents, quality assessments, and hazard reports — remains the exclusive property of the customer who created it.

WECAVIS holds only a limited, non-exclusive right to process and store that content for the sole purpose of delivering the service. Customers retain:

• Full ownership of all generated PDFs, defect records, daily and weekly reports
• Unrestricted use rights — export, share, or archive documents at any time
• GDPR-compliant data storage on servers located within the European Union, with no transfer to third countries

All data is processed in compliance with EU data protection law, guaranteeing purpose limitation, data minimization, and individual rights including access, deletion, and objection — regardless of the input channel used, whether WhatsApp photos, voice notes in 30+ languages, or structured text submissions.
